  • Post 4th

I had fun on the 4th. Waking up early in the morning at 5am to then go to work at 7am to then get the fuck out at 11:45am. So I went to my Best Friend's Party at 4:30pm, meeting her boyfriend's family and her friends while eating their dishes they brought on. I also bought my dessert. But we're in a mist of exaggerated rules and regulations over fireworks that honestly spoiled all the fun and celebration. After waiting for late afternoon to shoot some firecrackers from stink bombs to small rockets. Then as the sky turned dark, we had planned to go to see the fireworks.

The people were scarce in this year, it wasn't the same as prior years. And the fireworks sure wasn't as good as the last year (which I missed, thankfully). Even the place that were shooting those common fireworks was caught on fire and they have to stop the whole "show". It really sucked.

5 years ago when I was in GR, MI I was enjoying every single minute of these amazing display of fireworks followed by a night bar hopping. But now, it isn't the same anymore. People are becoming less and less interested on seeing fireworks shooting in a display of different colors and sizes because their own problems are bigger than showing their patriotic love for this country.
